Alyssa is one of the newest members to join the FOX 17 team and is excited to explore and learn more about West Michigan.
Born and raised in Flushing, MI, Alyssa has always had a passion for reporting as she grew up watching the local news and taking several station visits to sit through newscasts. Alyssa’s quest for a career in broadcasting led her to Central Michigan University where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts and a minor in Journalism and American Sign Language.
Alyssa previously worked at WPBN-TV 7&4 News in Traverse City, MI taking her viewers on adventures throughout northern Michigan.
